Viikko on ollut uskomattoman lämmin, kaiketi lämpimin toukokuun alku elämäni aikana. Lauantaina 8. toukokuuta Turkki ja Suomi olivat Euroopan lämpimimmät maat. Etelä-Suomessa lämpötila nousi 26 asteeseen ja Ivalossa 22 asteeseen. Niinpä Lapissa ei ole enää paljoakaan lunta. Joitain käkiä ja tervapääskyjä on saapunut. Pääskyjä ei ole veilä ehtinyt tulla suuria määriä, tulevthan ne Eteläisestä Afrikasta asti. Kuvaaminen on ollut hauskaa, paljon laululintuja eikä yhtään hyttysiä vielä. Ja aurinko paistaa joka päivä.

This week has been incredible warm, propably the warmest in my life this time of the year. On saturday the 8th May Turkey and Finland were the warmest countries in Europe. In Southern Finland the temperature went up to 26 degrees and in Northern Lappland to 22 celcius degrees. So there is not much snow left up there any more. Some cuckoos and Swifts have arrived, but not many Swallows yet. They have such a long way to migrate from Southern-Africa. Photographing has been fun, many singing birds and no mosquitos yet. And the sun is shining every day.
